Investigating the Components Affecting Women's Technological Entrepreneurship with a Content Analysis Approach (Case Study: Iran)

Objectives: The aim of this study is to investigate the components affecting womenchr('39')s technological entrepreneurship, which is the domain of Iran.
Methodology: This research has been conducted with qualitative method and content analysis approach. For data gathering in two ways; Examination of specialized databases and in-depth interviews were used. The study population included female executives in science and technology parks and women entrepreneurs in technology and knowledge- based companies. Data collection continued until data theoretical saturation was achieved. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with 39 key informants. The validity of the interviews was confirmed by the triangulation technique. Content analysis method was used to analyze the findings.
Findings: In summary, the results showed that the components influencing womenchr('39')s technological entrepreneurship included 40 concepts and 667 open codes, which were divided into 10 categories. The most common codes in order of priority were: "Production based on demand and the needs of the target market" in the category of "designing sales and market management strategies"; The code "Economic Infrastructure" in the category of "Business Environment and Policy Infrastructure" and the code "Support for Science and Technology Parks and Growth Centers" in the category of "Supportive Technological Structures". Conclusions: According to the obtained model, components such as womenchr('39')s personality traits, their demographic characteristics along with the components of team building, facilities, equipment and machinery, as well as design of sales and market management strategies, are factors that usually have a direct impact on technological entrepreneurship. They are considered work and company.
